Issue #3 of our Connected Newsletter is now available to download. In this newsletter you will find current information on how our village is coming back to life after our long COVID-19 restrictions. We are so happy to be back and being able to show potential residents around our beautiful village.

The Covid-19 pandemic has challenged us in many ways but at Applewood we are all about “growing hope!” We presented our residents with a herb seedling gift pack to lift their spirits and symbolically, it was our way of saying there are better days ahead. We have been extremely gratified as to how a simple gesture can brighten our resident’s day!

Care Packages For Our Residents During COVID-19 Lockdown
Our Operations team wanted to do something to "cheer up” our residents who have been doing it tough through Victoria's Stage 3 and 4 lockdowns.
All residents were hand delivered a special care package which included items to brighten their day. The care packs included face masks, T2 gourmet teas, hand sanitiser, Tim Tams, puzzles and vouchers.
We have been overwhelmed by how a small gesture really brightened our resident's day and we have been inundated with emails of thanks.

The Retirement Living Code of Conduct is an initative of the two peak bodies representing retirement living across Australia - The Retirement Living Council (RLC) and Leading Aged Services Australia (LASA). Through their collective membership, they represent more than 50% of retirement communities across the profit and not for profit sectors.
